For Christmas, my parents gave each family member
something that they have loved owning -- but that isn't going with them to
their new home. Each object starts a new chapter with us. My gift was the Lladro clown and since Christmas, I've
wanted to paint him. It's special to me that the objects already have a
history. He's serenading a beautiful, shiny ornament, another gift from
my parents.
This was a joy to paint. Simple, glowing, quiet, peaceful.
