Time In the Mountains

"Close to Heaven: Colorado," oil, 12"h x 16"w, ©Jill Banks 2013
I'm in picture perfect postcard land ... at a family reunion in Estes Park, Colorado. Our perch is at 8000 feet where the sun dips over the mountains, highlighting different spots in the valley.  All those peaks change colors ... my paintbrush can't keep up ... of course.

I'm lucky to be surrounded by an extraordinary family.  I better get back to visiting ... rather than telling you about them. That way, there will be more to relate. Right?

What a great town, too.

Until returning home, I'm short on decent photos of artwork to add for my "Serendipity" exhibit online preview (on my web site: ... but there are still quite a few to see there.  You may see them all ... live ... at the Great Falls Library. See below for more details.
