"Serendipity" Exhibit: Wall 1. Kind of a tour of where I've been lately. |
You're invited to come by any time between now and August 31 -- provided the library is open.
Reception: Saturday, July 20, 1-4pm
Painting Demonstration: Saturday, August 10, 1-4pm when I hope to be painting ballerinas in tutus. Want to come to that? Please RSVP to me via email so I can save you a spot. Know a ballerina or two who would like to be subjects? I'd love to have them model for me -- during the demo or another time.

I sent out my email newsletter to subscribers mid-afternoon today. If you didn't get "News From The Easel: Plein Air and "Serendipity" in your email mailbox -- you can read the archived version on my website. Like it? It's easy to subscribe right on that or any other web site page.
That's enough for today. Let me know if you'd like a personal tour of the exhibit. I'd love to meet you there!

I had the pleasure of sitting in the room all day today with your fabulous paintings surrounding us as we worked on our quilt projects. It was a great honor for me to be able to tell the other ladies some of the stories behind your paintings.
Dorry,
It's great to hear from you. Thank you for being my storyteller. I bet they really appreciated hearing them from you.
I honestly can't believe all the work in there. Pulling it together was nuts. Randy framed nine pieces on Thursday night/Friday morning. And, I kept painting to the very end.
Working on tags and a guest book are two of the projects for tomorrow.
Were there any surprises for you?
How did your quilt projects go? Do you meet once a month or more?
Thank you for the kind words.
