Thumbelina Drawing of the Day

I painted, too, today -- but not much. Here's a drawing I started last night and finished just a few minutes ago. The subject is a tiny doll now called "Thumbelina", graphite on more Italian paper from Zecchi's, around 4.5" x 6.5" inside mat, copyright Jill Banks 2008.

A Rose

Yesterday my back was killing me so I couldn't stand and paint as usual. But ... I could sit and draw. "A Rose" is done in graphite on beautiful Italian paper I bought from Zecchi's in Florence, Italy. Image size is about 5.5" x 5.5". Copyright Jill Banks 2008.
