My mom modeled for my portrait class this Tuesday in Great Falls -- and I had a chance to create this sketch during the class. She did a great job. It's tough to sit still.
Anyway, this painting has had plenty of admirers. It's obviously fresh and loose ... just the way I like to paint. Plus, the subject's plenty special.
