"La Femme" Solo Show in Alexandria

Randy and I hung a new show at the Bastille Restaurant in Alexandria. Sorry for the not-so-great photo -- we really needed a tripod. The show will hang until the beginning of December. It features two award-winning paintings of mine, including "Alice with a Bad Case of Wanderlust" -- the best of show winner at the Art League, July 2005. "Alice" hasn't made many appearances in public beyond that show -- so here's a great opportunity to see this special painting. Of note, this is the largest painting I've ever created. Take a look, too, at the chair. It's actually not fun to paint rattan -- but it had to be done.

The other paintings in the show include: "Nigerian Beauty" (Honorable Mention Award at Art League and exhibited in a Juried National Biennial Exhibition in Florida), "Hog Wild," "Kathy, After the Dance" and "Cabaret." Some great women are depicted here. Enjoy!

The five paintings in the exhibit are for sale; please contact me if you are interested in purchasing.
